Thanks for your comments (The only one I got in 2 months!) Not sure if you like it, but I was trying to state the fact that love between men is normal and natural and should not be punished, rejected or prohibited as many times is done by religion, society and(in my case) by families.
I wrote it when I was frustrated and struggling with my parents, searching for a justification or a support moral back up like "If they could, why can´t I?" Now I can happily agree with you!

Glad to read this. Unfortunately not everyone gets that it's not a choice. While it's hard to leave behind people who are important to you sometimes it's the only way to move forward and be whole. Best of luck!

Good point! Actually, I believe some versions of the Bible say that David LOVED Jonathan and that they "Lay Together" - HMMMM! And when Ruth told Naomi (or was it the other way around?), "Whether thou goest, I will go, and thy people shall be my people..." Sure sounds like a marriage vow to me. That poem's a keeper!
